Respiratory system is a important system of human body. The respiratory system supplies our body with oxygen. Air that enters the nose and moves down the trachea and into large bronchial tubes that are connected to each lobe, of the lungs. The tubes branch into many smaller tubes that end in many tiny passageways called “alveoli”. In these teeny spaces, oxygen gas enters the bloodstream and carbon dioxide gas is removed. This carbon dioxide gas is sent back up the trachea and breathed out through the nose.
oxygen works in every cell of our body. Each and every cell in the body needs oxygen so they can reproduce, move, build and turn food into energy.
Normally we take about 20 breaths each minute. When we breathe air, it goes in through your nose and mouth and into your lungs. You're able to pull in the air by flexing your diaphragm, and when you exhale it relaxes to push the air back out. Our lungs expand as we breathe in, then contract as we breathe out.
